About the Webmaster

Don't let the title fool you. We're not out to win awards. Actually, here each year we will announce the award winners for the last year within the genres of Science-Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. Since we are picking up right now the fall of 2002, the awards we will be posting now and from now will cover from the Fall of the previous year to the end of summer each year. There is no sense that cable should get left out of possibilities for awards.

Here are the awards for Fall 2001 through the Summer of 2002. The film awards are strictly 2002.

Sci-Fi Channel - Canceling show like First Wave, I-Man, Chronicles of Jules Verne, and the Chronicle in favor of reality based paranormal shows like Crossing Over with John Edward.

Resident Evil; not just for a stylish Zombie flick, but for the nihilistic ending that no one ever tries anymore.

Headline of the Year:

Jason vs. Freddy is a go but only Englund will be reprising his role as Freddy Krueger. Sadly, Kane Hodder will not reprise his, no doubt the best, as Jason Vorhees. A man who kept the flame of Jason vs. Freddy alive, and tenacity kept Friday the 13th alive and well even with some weird directions they took. In my mind, he is the Jason I want to see beat the hell out of Freddy. I'll still see the movie out of loyalty to F13. They should rename the movie,  A Nightmare on Friday the 13th is a better title. As a note to why Hodder isnt in the movie, ask New Line because they wanted to go for a new look for Jason. I don't know what's worse, a studio not caring at all, or a studio that says they listen to fans when they really don't.
